
CT&C is actively involved in the Community Associations
Institute (CAI) San Diego and the Minnesota Chapter. She is
currently serving on the Minnesota Chapter's Board of Directors
and Program Committee. Marj was a founding member
and 1st President of the Minnesota Chapter of CAI.
Marj is a member of the
California Association of California Managers (CACM). As a
member of the faculty for CACM, Marj Peterson trains managers
in CA on the Core Courses in the areas of financial, property
management, meetings, ethics and the BAM course (Basics of
Association Management).
Marj Peterson served as the national president
of CAI in 1987-88 and was the first woman among 17 managers in
the nation to receive the Professional Community Association
Manager (PCAM) designation from CAI. As a member of CACM, Marj
earned her CCAM designation.
Marj was recognized by the
Community Associations Institute with the coveted Byron Hanke Award for lifetime
achievement.
Marj has traveled extensively for CAI and has trained and been
the guest speaker for various organizations involved in the HOA
and retirement industry throughout the country.
